Allen S Hussing

Allen Samuel Hussing, Sr. of Masontown entered into eternal rest on

May 18, 2018 from JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born February 18, 1928 in Morgantown, son of the late Charles Adam and Ethel Marie Close Hussing.  Allen worked at Southside Lumber and Ken Shaner Construction.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, playing cards and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Allen S Hussing, Jr; two daughters, Karen Sue Mayfield and Don, Diana Lynn Thasher and Mick; and Martha Ringer whom he raised as his own all of Masontown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three sisters, Georgie Hammack and Sylvia Dunn, both of Morgantown, Hazel Galloway and Kermit of Bruceton Mills. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife Martha Olive Shaffer Hussing; eight brothers, Clyde, Everett, Leroy, Floyd, Freddie, Carl, Lloyd and Lester; one sister, Madge Friend. 

Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2–8 pm again on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00am Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery.
