Bruno John Tress

Bruno John Tress, 89 of Arthurdale entered into Eternal rest Monday June 19th, 2017 from Pine Ridge in Kingwood.
He was born March 6th, 1928 in Masontown, a son of the late Joe and Victoria (Zanella) Tress.
Bruno was in the US Marine Corps until 1947 and later served in Korea as a Sergeant in the US Army. He was a member of Masontown VFW Post # 1589.
He was the last member of the original crew that started working in the early 40s at the WVU experiment Farm, that he later retired from. He was a member of St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown.
Bruno is survived by his brother Richard Tres of VA; three sisters Theresa Gribble of Tunnelton, Carolyn Hammon of Michigan, and Vicki Bateman of Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Ernie and sister Flora Hefern.
Friends are invited to the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Wednesday June 21st from 4 to 5:30 p.m. the time of Catholic funeral services. A private inurnment at the Arthurdale cemetery will be at a later time.
