Geraldine (Prinkey) Nicholas Wolfe

Geraldine “Jerry” Nicholas Wolfe, 89, of Arthurdale died on Thursday, July 12, 2018.  She was born at Clifton Mills, WV in 1928 to the late Elvy R. and Dorothy Mersing Prinkey.

Geraldine graduated from Bruceton Mills High School and also the Monongalia County Vocational Practical Nurse Program.  She was employed as a practical nurse at the WVU Hospital in Morgantown and the Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood.  She was an active member as well as an ordained Elder of the Community Presbyterian Church of Arthurdale.

She is survived by three daughters:  Linda Zappone and spouse Dennis of Swayzee, IN; Dorothy Baber and spouse Bruce “Buck” of Bruceton Mills, WV; Betty N. Demchak and spouse George of Rices Landing, PA; and one son-in-law, John DiBiase, Jr. of Carmichaels, PA.  Also surviving is one sister-in-law, Betty Prinkey of Bruceton Mills, WV; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.   

She was preceded in death by:  her first husband, Harry L. Nicholas, in 1966; her second husband, Andrew R. Wolfe, in 1998; a daughter, Mary “Nicki” DiBiase in 2003; one son-in-law, John Schauffner; two sisters, Marian Elane Kotta and Irene Clizbe; one brother, Roy Prinkey; one foster sister, Hulda Dague; and three stepdaughters and spouses.

Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home, in Reedsville, Sunday July 15^th from 12 – 6:00 PM. Monday July 16^th from 10 – 11:00 AM the time of funeral services in the Community Presbyterian Church of Arthurdale with Rev. Steven Lightner officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Kingwood, WV.
