Welcome to the memorial page for

Glenn Allen Luzier

June 9, 2017 ~ September 26, 2017
In Remembrance of Glenn Allen Luzier.
June 9th 1933 - September 26th 2017
An enthusiastic husband and father who met the love of his life at the age of 15, ironically 69 years ago this week at the Preston County Buckwheat Festival. Glenn cherished his marriage to Dot (Delores Grey Taylor Luzier). They recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.
The love they shared as a couple was blessed with 3 wonderful children, Deanna Gray, Daniel Allen and Lisa Lane. Their lives were a focus of attention making holidays, accomplishments and special occasions a reason to celebrate. Marriages and grandchildren continued to bless their lives.
An accomplished athlete he lettered in Baseball, Basketball, and Football at Arthurdale High School. He received a football scholarship to James Madison University in Harrisonburg VA.
Glenn began his career as a journeyman electrician for the IBEW Union. Career advancements included professional accomplishments as Master Electrician and Superintendent of multimillion dollar industrial construction projects.
He was a 32nd degree Mason.
What made Glenn truly special was his ability to identify the best in everyone and make you feel special and appreciated.
Glenn was proud of being an Arthurdale Homestead founding family. His service to the community included being elected to the Preston County School Board, a member of the Lions Club, serving on Board of Directors Sheltered Workshop, Board of Directors Arthurdale Heritage. Volunteer Fireman Reedsville WV, and Board of Directors Branch Mountain Hunting Club. Glenn and his brother Jimmy founded and coached Pee Wee and Pop Warner football teams for Reedsville and Arthurdale.
He would give gladly of time and money to anyone in need. He spent many hours helping neighbors with electrical, heating and roofing problems. Always refusing payment.
Glenn's generosity and love are well reflected by the love and admiration of his family and friends. Our only regret is not having the ability to name each of you.
On behalf of Glenn we wish you Grace Peace and love of family through our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
