Larry Allen Walters

       Larry Allen Walters, Sr. 80, of Petersburg, Ohio passed away Thursday January 17, 2019 at the Three Rivers Hospice Center in New Castle, Pa.

   Larry was born in Uniontown, Pa on January 17, 1939 he was the adopted son of the late Charles and Blanche Bond. He married the former Dorsey Cress on December 1, 1962 and she passed away on August 9, 2012, Leaving Larry heartbroken. Larry was the owner of Walters trucking Inc. and had been a driver for over 60 years. He was a member of the Teamsters, Bessemer Croatian Club, Johnson Club and S.N.P.J. he was a hard worker who liked to Cook and make sausage. Larry was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy.

  Larry leaves behind his children Laura Blanche Hilling (Vernon) of Morgantown WV. Larry Allen Walters Jr.( Cassi ) of Petersburg, OH, Charles Glenn Walters (Audrey) of New Middletown, OH, Marion Delores Cameron (Eric) of Petersburg, OH and Amy Beth Walters of Petersburg, OH.  Larry leaves ten grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The Family wishes to also acknowledge their fathers lifelong friend, Fred Coates of Girard, Oh.

Larry was preceded by his parents and wife.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday January 21, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home at 203 Oak Street in Bessemer, Pa. at 8pm military honors will be preformed.

Visitation and services are scheduled for Wed. January 23, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm with services following, at the Morgan Funeral Home and Cremation Facility at 13411 Veterans Memorial Highway, Reedsville, WV 26547. Larry will be laid to rest in the Mt Zion Cemetery, Masontown, WV.
