Leo Howard Haskiell, 81 of Tunnelton entered into eternal rest on Thursday February 22, 2018 from his home, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born January 15, 1937 in Tunnelton a son of the late George and Georgia (McCrobie) Haskiell.
He was a coal miner and after retirement did maintenance for Windy Hill. Leo was a member of the West End United Brethren Church, previously serving as a trustee. He loved camping and going to the beach with his family and had a special place in his heart for the little ones.
His surviving family includes his wife of, a few days shy, of sixty years Mildred Maxine (Johnson) Haskiell; three sons: Timothy Howard Haskiell and wife Diane, Randy Lee Haskiell, and Ricky A. Haskiell and wife Vanessa; two daughters: Janet L. Haddix and husband Jimmy, and Sharon K. Swearinger and husband Aaron; three brothers: Bill, Roger, and Joe Haskiell; two sisters: Lottie Walter and Agnes Johnson and husband Edward; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael Eugene; a daughter Sherry Ann; and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Saturday, 4 – 8 pm and again on Sunday February 24, 2018, from 12 - 2:00 pm the time of the Funeral Services with Rev. Rick Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery.
