Ruth Louise Wolfe

Ruth Louise Wolfe, 93, of Gladesville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Heartland of Preston County with family by her side.
She was born on December 17, 1921 near Ireland, WV; a daughter of the late Jessie Margaret (Boggs) Wolfe-Maxwell.
Ruth devoted her life to her family. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gladesvile where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Baptist Ladies' Mission and the Preston County CEO's. She attended the Shay's Chapel Church in her youth where she played the organ. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters, Joann Turner (Ralph), of Gladesville, and Patricia Sweeney, of Salem, OH; son-in-law, Gary Bebout; one brother, John Wolfe, of Manassas, VA; one sister, Naomi Ripley, of Newburg; eight grandchildren: Marty Turner, Michael Turner, Martha Elliott, Michele Cerneck, Jason Hogan, Loretta Brewer, Rita Jo Willis, and Sherri Trickett; fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin Wolfe; two daughters, Margaret Albertha Wolfe and Sarah Jane Bebout. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1-6 p.m., and again on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from Noon until the time of the 2 p.m. funeral service in the funeral home's chapel with Ruth's grandson, the Reverend Marty Turner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gladesville Cemetery.
