Vicki Lynne Thorn, 61, of Kingwood passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2017 with her husband and daughter by her side. Vicki was born December 22, 1956 a daughter of William Moody Greathouse and the late Jean Greathouse of Arthurdale.
She retired from Pine Ridge Nursing home in June 2016 after 33 years of employment. Vicki was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her summers camping and adored her friends at Seven Islands. Her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Kyle were her pride and joy and loved watching them at their sporting events. Vicki will always be remembered for her kind heart and her eagerness to help others.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randy Thorn; daughter Chanda Weaver and husband Pat Weaver; grandchildren Ashlyn and Kyle Weaver; father William Moody Greathouse; sisters Cheryl Arbogast and Cathy Zinn (husband Jeff Zinn); brothers Mark Greathouse and Michael Greathouse (wife Pam Greathouse).
A celebration of life will be in the Morgan Funeral Home, Reedsville, at 3 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 with Larry “Pete” Nicholson officiating. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 - 3:00.
