William D. Bucklew

William Darrell Bucklew, 79, of Arthurdale died at his home at Lake ‘O’ Woods on May 15th , 2018.

He was a residential contractor and developer for over 50 years.

He was born on May 21, 1938 in Terra Alta, WV to Charles Robert Bucklew, Sr. and Hallie Bucklew.

He enjoyed sharing his love of fishing, hunting, boating, music and adventure with his family and friends.

He was a member of the Arthurdale Tire Kickers Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Tammy D. Bucklew of Arthurdale, daughter, Millissa “Missy” Hartsell and husband George of Arthurdale, grandson Jared Hartsell, granddaughter Kerry Fasouletos and husband Michael, granddaughter Kali Harsh and husband Tyler, and the joys of his life his great grandchildren, Zoe Fasouletos, Kirra Harsh, Ayla Fasouletos, Elias Harsh, and Andi Fasouletos, brother Ed Bucklew and wife Carol, sister Janet Riley and husband Bill, sister Joyce Barnicle and husband Mike, brother Jim Bucklew and wife JoAnne, sister Patricia Stubb, sister Cheri Ledgerwood and husband Curt, sister Pam Bucklew and husband Ernest Wilder, brother Richard Bucklew and companion Pat Hamilton, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville 4 – 8:00 PM on Friday May 18^th, 2018. There will be a Celebration of Life Service and Luncheon at Arthurdale Heritage, 18 Q Road, Arthurdale, WV on Saturday May 19^th, 2018 at 1:00 PM. A private interment will be in the Arthurdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arthurdale Heritage, Inc, P.O. Box 850, Arthurdale, WV 26520, with notation for the “William Bucklew Family Legacy Fund”.
