Carmalita (Warnick) Moran

Carmalita (Warnick) Moran, 94, died at her home in Arthurdale on Wednesday, July 13. She was a resident of Preston County her entire adult life. She was respected by friends and family as a quiet, thoughtful, generous, and kind person. She was devoted to her family and worked for many years as a cook at Arthurdale schools. A deeply religious person, she was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Moran is survived by: her husband of 74 years, Lawrence K. ("Dimples") Moran, who is 97; three daughters: Sue (Paul Thole), Sherrie, and Kathy (Phil Nicholson); one son, Kenneth (Jeanette); two grandchildren: Shawn (Kristle) and Stephanie; great granddaughter, Kaylee; numerous nieces and nephews.
