Dennis F. Street

Dennis F. Street, 91, of Masontown, entered into Eternal rest on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Mon General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 20, 1925, in Masontown, the son of the late Clarence C. and Josephine (Holmes) Street.
Dennis Street was owner of Street's Store in Masontown, WV. He was a member of Valley District Lions Club for 63 years, a Master Mason for 56 years, and a supporter of Boy Scouts of America. He had a very strong work ethic. Throughout his life, he spent the majority of his time working for and running the family business as well as volunteering his personal time to the Lions Club. He took great pride in his work and was an outstanding role model for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and many present and past employees of Street's Store.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Grace (Burke) Street. Also surviving are two sons and spouses, David (Debbie) Street and Roger (Brenda) Street of Masontown; one daughter and spouse, Pamela (Mike) Jenkins of Albright; Grandchildren: Steven (Ann), Edward (Melanie), Craig (Amanda), Stephanie (Jeff), Jeffery (April), Patrick (Kristen), Timothy (Renee), Kelly, Preston (Danielle), and Nathan Street, Kiley (Lindsay) and Matthew (Robyn) Jenkins, and Kara (Seth) Tuttle; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and spouse John (Sondra) Burke; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Franklin C. Street; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hawley Street; two great-grandchildren Parker and Hunter Street; a sister Margaret Street Goldstrom; brother-in-law Andrew Goldstrom Jr.; three brother-in-laws; two sister-in-laws; and two nephews, Andrew Goldstrom III and Dale Burke; and a great niece Renee Neely.
Friends may call at the MorganFuneral Home in Reedsville, Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services in the funeral home Chapel will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating.
