Margaret Jane "Peg" (Shaffer) Cress

Margaret Jane Cress, "Peg", 78, entered into eternal rest from her home in Cress Hollow, Masontown on Friday May 6th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Peg was born June 11, 1937 in Yorkville, Ohio to the late Dallas Harlan and Gertrude Belle (Taylor) Shaffer.
Peg was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law.
She is survived by 8 children: 3 sons: Lee and Mary, Bill and MaryAnn, and Jacob (Zeke) Cress all of Masontown; 5 Daughters: Kathy and Wilbert Murray, Jean and Rick Wagner of Reedsville, Dorsey Cress and companion Russ Day of Buckhannon, Wanda Cale and companion Lyndon Lyons of Masontown, Stacey Cole and companion Jeff Petroski of Bridgeport, son-in-law Mark Cale of Cress Hollow; 26 Grandchildren: Brad, Nick, Megan, Chelsea, Courtney, Jonathan, Brandon, Christina, TJ, Chris, Jameelah, Jasman, Jaiven, Dan, Jason, Liz, Dewayne, Becca, Brian, Justin, Flecha, Emily, Charlie, Sara, Nathan and Jacob, 20 Great grand children and 3 Siblings: Herbert and Kathy Shaffer, Lil and Fred Jenkins, and Dorie Hovatter; and Peg's beloved 4-legged companion Gizmo.
Peg was preceded in death by her beloved husband Audis (Jake) Cress and an infant son.
