Alice Beulah (Gower) Hartsell

Alice Beulah (Gower) Hartsell, 81, of Reedsville entered into eternal rest from Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown on Monday May 2nd, 2022 with loving family by her side. She was born September 26, 1940 in Erwin, WV, a daughter of the late Herbert Joseph and Katherine Virginia (Jones) Gower. Alice retired from Morgan Shirt Factory where she had been employed for over 20 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: son David Paul Hartsell; step-son, George E. Hartsell; brother, Joe Gower; sister Mary Pierson; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Bud” Hartsell; son, William Conrad Hartsell; and brothers William, Clarence, and infant Charles.

Friends will be received at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Monday, May 9th, 2022 from 3 – 6:00 PM again on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 from 12 - 1:00 PM the time of the Funeral Services with Pastor Marty Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Reedsville.
