Allan David Watson, age 70, of Reedsville, WV, passed away, Sunday, September 1, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born in Morgantown, November 7, 1953, a son of the late Allen Dayton Watson, and Blanche Louise (Hartman) Watson. His wife, Donatila “Donna” (Joven) Watson survives. They were united in marriage May 1, 1977.
Allan was a 1970 graduate of Masontown High School. He was a retired US Air Force Veteran having served in Dessert Storm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: one son, Alexander D. “Alex” Watson, of Weirton, WV; one daughter, Jeannette “Nettie” (Watson) Joven, and wife Michell, of WA; four grandchildren, Rhianna Watson, Mikayla Watson, Kympton Wilson, and Kason Wilson; and one sister Barbara Hamrick, of Fairmont, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his paternal grandmother to whom he was very close, Opal Watson; and one brother, Robert L. Watson.
