Bernadine Elloise Bennett Davisson

Bernadine Elloise Bennett Davisson, of Clarksburg, passed peacefully January 17, 2013 at her residence in her 91st year. She was born May 9, 1921; daughter of the late Charles Bennett and Laura Newsome Bennett. She is survived by seven children, Karen Marlene Ernest and husband John of Carrolton, OH; Warder Edmund Davisson of Akron, OH; Brenda Crayton of Clarksburg, WV; Maynard Duane Davisson and wife Karen of Clarksburg; Dwight Lee Davisson and wife Jacqueline Sue of Clarksburg, WV; Evelyn Lucille Harris of New London, OH; Isen Denzil Davisson and wife Jean of Clarksburg, WV; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two half sisters Joan, Sandy; two half brothers Bob and Jim. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Denzil Ivan Davisson; one son Charles Stephen Davisson. Bernadine was a Christian by faith. She was devoted to her 6 generations of family and had a passion for cooking. Memorial service 11:00AM Saturday, January 26, 2013; family will greet friends immediately following the service at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment in Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery.
