Bobby Lee Radabaugh, 92, of Arthurdale, West Virginia was born on June 06, 1930 in Masontown, West Virginia. He passed away at home on December 9th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Cameron Hyson and Opal (Harned) Radabaugh, original Homesteaders of historic Arthurdale, moving there in 1936. During World War II, at age 15, he began driving truck on local back roads. At age 17 he bought his 1st truck, beginning then, he became dedicated to the trucking business, later forming Radabaugh Trucking Inc., along with his wife and sons.
Having bought their home in 1953, at the time of his death he had lived in Arthurdale longer than any resident. Bob was married on December 04, 1949 to the love of his life, the former Maxine Menear. They were blessed with 5 children: Robert Wayne (Rebecca), David Dennis(Ellen), Karen Sue Sanderson (Wayne), Camilla Jo Henry (Bradley), Roger Lee (Gina); grandchildren: Frances Eisenhofer, Lori Poling, Bryan and Jeremy Radabaugh, Kerri Radabaugh Bogers, Justin, Zachary, and Tyler Sanderson, Leah Darr, Rachel Humberson, Tim Henry, Carma Maier, Cameron Radabaugh, and Joe Todesko; 2 step grandsons: Scott and Beau Frum; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his father and mother in law Elbert and Hazel (Menear) Brown; brother: Paul (Martha) Liston; sisters: Pauline (Jim) Davis, Kathleen (Robert) Johns, Juanita (Wade) Taylor, Maxine (Gerald) Zinn; and a great-grandson.
Having seldom left his home or becoming involved in other activities, he had not learned about the love of God. During his illness, with his wife, family, and the dedication of pastor Lisa Fox, he accepted Jesus Christ and his sacrifice. Telling his wife that he was ready to go and wanted her to go with him.
Visitation will be at Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville, on Friday December 16th, from 4 to 8:00 PM with a private family service at a later date. Interment at the Arthurdale cemetery.
