Brenda Kay (Blosser) Strahin, 75, of Masontown, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on August 15, 1949, in Preston County, Brenda was the daughter of the late Marie Collins and Melvin Guy Blosser. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Brenda shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, James Blair Strahin, Sr., and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and simple joys. Brenda worked as a housekeeper for the Ramada Inn, but her most cherished role was caring for her family. She especially enjoyed meals at PC’s Pizza and spending quiet evenings watching Gunsmoke alongside her husband. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children: James Strahin, Jr. of Morgantown, Darren (Tina) Strahin of Arthurdale, Marvin Strahin of Morgantown, and Denise (Greg) Bolyard of Reedsville; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.
Brenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and the warmth of her presence will never be forgotten.
Family and friends may call on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Highway, Reedsville, WV, from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Reverend Mike Argabrite, with interment to follow at Gladesville Cemetery.
