Catherine Rudell Heiskell

Catherine Rudell Hill Heiskell, 85 of Tunnelton, WV went to be with the lord Friday, January 11, 2013 at Grafton City Hospital with family by her side. She was born April 5, 1927 in Preston County, daughter of the late Asa Clarence and Pearl Beavers Weaver. Catherine worked for the Preston County Board of Education at the Tunnelton School as a cook, then worked at Community Action as a social worker and last worked at Hopemont State Hospital as a Nurse's Aide. She was a lifetime member of the Col Rowan Post VFW#2345 and the Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens and the Ladies Aide Society all in Tunnelton. She was baptized in and a member of the Howesville Church of Christ for over sixty years. Surviving are three sons, Gene R Hill and Sue of White Oak, NC, James H Hill of Tunnelton, Hope W Hill and Bonnie of Terra Alta; four grandchildren, Gene Roscoe Hill Jr. and Tonya, Toni Lynn Hill, Shelby Jon Hill and Trina, Kelli Lynn Andrew and Michael; six great grandchildren, Patricia, Gene III, Jesse, Olivia, Chayce, and Madelyn; two great great grandchildren, one brother, Richard Weaver of Farmham, VA. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles R Hill in 1986, second husband, Clark Heiskell; one great great grandchild, three brothers, Clarence, Paul, and Charles Weaver; four sisters, Margaret Wilson, Thelma Martin, Betty Poling, Eleanor Montgomery. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2-8 pm, and she will lie in repose on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Howesville Church of Christ from 9 am until the service at 10:00 am with the ¬¬¬¬¬ Gene Kessel officiating.
