Cecil Dan Hollandsworth

Cecil Dan Hollandsworth, 74 of Clarksburg passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Sutton, WV on May 10, 1938, son of the late, Daniel D and Mary E Beckner Hollandsworth. Cecil was raised by his maternal grandparents, the late Walter and Lena Hawkins Beckner. He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Lucille Jane Marks Hollandsworth; 5 children, Beverly Zickefoose and David, Carolyn Stier and John III, Carla Townley, Cecil L Hollandsworth, Sherry L Rowan and David all of Clarksburg; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three brothers, William Lee Hollandsworth and Joann, Ohio, Ralph Sam Hollandsworth and Sonya, South Dakota, Walter Ray and Mary, Ohio; three sisters, Lena Mae Elswick and Barbara Jean Warner both of Ohio and Lou Ella Hollandsworth, Mississippi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters and three brothers. Cecil was a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired as an over the road truck driver with W.S Thomas with over thirty one years of service. He was a member of the Full Gospel Mission Church in Clarksburg. He loved all types of music, watching westerns and driving the country in his Big Rig Truck. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr., Rt.98, Clarksburg from 2-8pm Monday where services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 am with Reverend Delores White officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
