Clarence Frederick Lewis, of Clarksburg passed at his residence in his 95th year. He was born in Stealey, WV on January 20, 1918 the son of the late Harry A. Lewis, Sr. and Nora B. Ashcraft Lewis. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Clem Lewis. Mr. Lewis is survived by two sons; Donald J. Lewis and wife Annette of Glen Arbor, MI and R. Michael Lewis of Clarksburg; one granddaughter; Danielle Elizabeth Lewis-Hahn; two great grandchildren; Xavia and Tegan; and one brother; David M. Lewis. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. Fred was an absolute perfectionist, well known for his beautiful penmanship. An artist in his own right, Fred loved to take pictures and enjoyed showing them to everyone. He had a charmed life, enjoyed people and loved the fellowship of others. Fred was a member of Central Church of Christ, a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School class of 1936 and was retired from Union Oil as a lead accountant. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr./Rt.98, Clarksburg from 10:00AM to 1:30PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Services will be held in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30PM on Tuesday with the Evangelist Perry Henegar officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
