Cora Belle Knapko

Cora Belle Knapko, of Clarksburg, passed peacefully on April 16, 2013 at United Hospital Center in her 87th year. She was born December 23, 1925 in Erie, WV; daughter of the late Howard Wesley Shawhan and Iota Marie Powell. She is survived by daughters, Charlene Marie Wolford, of Charlotte NC; Sharon L. Bee, of Clarksburg; son, John Wesley Quickle, of Clarksburg; 14 grandchildren, Melissa Dulaney, of Buckhannon; J. Aaron Folio, of Houston TX; Valerie and husband Chad Elliott, of Bridgeport; Justin Cresson, of Parkersburg; Rachelle Wolford, of Clarksburg; Stephanie Wolford, of Charlotte NC; Alexander Wolford; Anthony Wolford; Ian Wolford; Jordan Wolford; Lindsay Wolford; Shawn (Eli) Wolford; Rasheika Wolford; Kieran Wolford, all of Charlotte NC; 27 great-granchildren; sisters, Margaret Haney, of Hepzibah; Mary L. Bartlett, of Ravenswood; and brother, John Howard Shawhan, of Morgantown; brother-in-law, William Bartlett, of Ravenswood; sister-in-law, Betty Shawhan, of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rachel Huff; Susan Kirkendall and many beloved friends and coworkers at United Hospital Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl L. Quickle; Frank L. Knapko; son, Earl Lawrence Quickle Jr. and sister, Billie Lee Shawhan. Visitation Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home; service Friday, April 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Madaus officiating.
