D. Jean Hurst

D. Jean Hurst, of Clarksburg, passed peacefully at United Hospital Center on May 2, 2013 in her 80th year. She was born September 11, 1932 in Richwood, WV; daughter of the late Matthew Singleton and Anna Mae Wilson Singleton. She is survived by two children, John R. Hurst Jr., of Stonewood; Terry G. Rundell and husband David, of Houston Texas; three brothers, William Singleton and wife Madeline; Jerry Singleton and wife Shirley; James Singleton; wife Elinore and sister, Kay Lamm and husband Bill. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Hurst and brother Robert. Jean worked for the Clarksburg Credit Bureau for over 19 years. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, crafts and working around her home. Visitation will be Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM; service Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum Chapel with Reverend Harry Jenkins officiating.
