Dallas Lee Reed

Dallas Lee "Dallie" Reed, age 74, of Flemington, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Taylor County October 31, 1939, a son of the late John Preston Reed and Virgie (McCoy) Reed. His wife, Linda Ellen (McCloy) Reed survives. They were united in marriage March 17, 1990.
Mr. Reed was retired having been employed at the former WV Plastic/Baby World, with 34 years service.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: one son, Roy Lee Reed and wife Trent, of Cody, Wyoming; one daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Gregory and husband Hollis, of Wendel; three grandchildren, Sage Reed, of Montana, Coulter Reed, of Wyoming, and Alexandria Gregory, of Wendel; one stepdaughter, Heather Dawn Thompson, of Flemington; two step sons, Floyd Thompson and wife Shanna, and Ronnie Thompson and wife Ashley, all of Flemington; six step grandchildren, Skylar, Brady, Bailey, Haley, Kacy, and Patrick Ryan Thompson, his mother in law, Shirley McCloy, of Flemington; a special niece Debbie White, of Flemington; and several nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by: a sister, Betty Jean Lawson; and two brothers, Brinky Reed and Robert Reed.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Hays officiating. Interment will follow at Simpson Cemetery.
