David James Miller

David J Miller, 61 of Moatsville, WV, went to be with the lord Monday, July 16, 2012 at home. He was born April 22, 1951 in Barbour County, son of the late Henry James and O. Irene Bolyard Miller. David worked in Reedsville at Sterling Faucet. He was a coalminer for 28 years and last worked at Black Diamond Mine in Philippi. He enjoyed horseback riding, raising horses, hunting and farming. He attended the New Beginning Church in Moatsville. David is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Bowman Miller whom he married on Sept 8, 1969; two sons, Lonnie David Miller at home, Wesley James Miller and Kelly, Belington; one brother, Kevin Miller and Etta, Yorks Run; three sisters, Shirley Haffner and Bob, Grafton, Loretta Cozatt, Terra Alta and Terri Sakar and Ghassan, Houston, TX; one sister-in-law, Maxine Miller, Tunnelton; mother-in-law, Dortha Stone Bowman, Moatsville; his special dog Gizmo and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Miller. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, from 2-8 pm, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 and from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11 am, Thursday, July 19, 2012 .
