David Wendell Pratt, 64 of Gladesville passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home.

He was born January 16, 1957 in Kingwood, West Virginia to the late Homer Roy Pratt and Genevieve Pyles Pratt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sheila Marie (Brewer) Pratt; one son: Matthew Pratt (Rachel) of Washington C.H., Ohio; and two daughters Anna Holt (Joe) of Volga, WV and Courtney Garbart (Scott) of Kingwood; one brother: Homer Pratt Jr. of Tunnelton; and two sisters: Carolyn Shaffer (Paul) of Woodbridge Virginia and Roberta Peacock (James) of Lovettsville, VA; 6 Grandchildren: Brevin Cummings, Braelyn Cummings and their father Bradley Cummings, Mickala Gordon (Evan), David Lance Pratt, Carter Garbart, and Hattie Garbart; 7 Step Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren William and Waylon Gordon; Mother-in-law Esther Brewer; Aunt Rose Turner; and many nieces and nephews

He was both a local and long-haul trucker for 35 years. He served as President of the Pratt Cemetery Association.

Due to the Covid 19 private services will be held at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville. Burial at Pratt Cemetery.
