Doyl D James

Doyl D James, 84, of Good Hope passed away Saturday August 4, 2012 at United Hospital Center. He was born March 15, 1928; son of William Bryant James and Lillian Sylvester Turner James. Doyl married Lora Leaford Rylee James December 1946, who survives him. He is also survived by six children; Sue Riffle and husband Eddie of Weston; Jerry James of Good Hope; Sandy Collett and husband Terry of Dailey; Debbie Jenkins of Good Hope; Teresa Vaughn and husband John of Good Hope; Vanessa Bond and husband Mike of Lost Creek; eighteen grandchildren; Donnie Hinzman and wife Clarinda; Ginger Somerville; Jerry Alan James; Carol Piefer and husband John; Missy Callahan; Daniel James and wife Ciera; Andrea James; Tracy Ratcliff and husband Paul; Brian Collett and wife Tisha; Jessica Jenkins and companion Trent; Lisa Mays and husband John; Joshua Jenkins and wife Heather; Jason Jenkins and fiancée Annie; Joseph Jenkins and wife Valerie; David Vaughn and wife Erin; Daniel Vaughn and wife Hollie; Adam Bond and wife Shanna; Clenta Bond; thirty-seven great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; one sister, Faye Boen of Arkansas; one brother, Jimmy James of Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews. Doyl was preceded in death by three brothers, Hoyt, Ray and Odean; son-in-law, Elwood Jenkins; two grandchildren, Sherrie Hinzman; Scottie Hicks. Doyl was co-owner of James Brothers Lumber Company for over forty years. He loved his family as well as enjoyed fishing, blue grass festivals, ramp dinners and camping. He was a member of the Mulberry Masonic Lodge #272 F & AM, Oark, Arkansas. Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr, Rt. 98, Clarksburg from 2:00-8:00PM on Tuesday where services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 with Pastor Dan Vaughn officiating.
