Edward James "Jim" Wolfe, 73 of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born February 15, 1939 in Monongah, the son of the late James Leroy Wolfe and Edith Kittle Wolfe. He is preceded in death by his wife Alice Shipe Wolfe. He is survived by his mother Edith Kettle Wolfe of Enterprise and three sons Edward James Wolfe II and wife Pam of Indiana; James Edward Wolfe wife Bessie of Mannington; Michael Joseph Wolfe wife Lisa of Clarksburg; one daughter Donna Wolfe of Indiana; four grandsons; James Edward Wolfe II and; Michael J. Wolfe II both of Clarksburg; Brian and Austin Wolfe both of Blacklick PA; one granddaughter Nancy Ice husband Matt of Wyatt; one great grandson Clovis Max Ice II; two great granddaughters Carlie Marie, and Emma Elizabeth Ice; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in Death by one brother; William Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a retired truck driver and was Baptist by faith. Military Graveside Services will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WVA DAV Chapter 24, and their auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson. Friends and family were received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike Street, Shinnston, Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2-8 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. time of service Monday January 28, 2013 with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating.
