Elizabeth June Satterfield

Elizabeth June Satterfield, age 87 of Knottsville, WV passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born May 29, 1925 in Parkview, a daughter of the late Charles Harter Arnold and Corda Laduska Albright Arnold. Her husband Daniel L. Satterfield preceded her death in 2000. June enjoyed singing gospel songs, cooking for her family and friends, and traveling. June worked at the Hazel Atlas, Baby World, and Tygart Lake.
June is survived by her son; Charles R." Chuck "Satterfield of Weston, one brother; Jimmy and Sarah Arnold, Grafton, two sisters; Helen and Mark Moore ,Fairmont, and Carolyn and J. Sessions, Grafton; one daughter -in-law, Kim Satterfield, Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Brian Satterfield and Rodney Satterfield; three great grandchildren, Brent, Brandy and Megan Satterfield; one great great grandchild, Brayden Satterfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son; Larry B. Satterfield; one brother, Charles Robert Arnold; two sisters, Mary Bunner and Frances "Frankie" McDaniel.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Sunday April 21, 2013 from 2-8 pm and on Monday April 22, 2013 at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church from 10am until time of service at 11 am with Rev. Dan Lowther officiating. Interment will follow at the Arnold Cemetery.
