Ellen D Dennison

Ellen D. Dennison, 82 of Worthington passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born in Calhoun Co. WV, on September 21, 1929 the daughter of the late Okey Richards and Geraldine Richards. Ellen was married to the late Harry D. Dennison whom she married on October 20, 1948 and had 55 wonderful years together. They have six daughters Diana Dennison of Worthington; Linda Sue Layton and husband Ricky of Kingwood; Peggy Harbert of Worthington; Tammy Cartwright and husband Michael of Rustburg VA; Polly Gear and husband Dave of Clarksburg; Lucy Riffle and husband James of Buckhannon. Ellen had 13 grandchildren, Kim Swiger; Terri Carroll, Jason Harbert; Matt Harbert; Jesse Reynolds, Jeremy Scott McCullough, Courtney McCullough, Melissa Winther, Heather Gear, Holly Boggess, David Gear, Ben Gear, Aaron Riffle; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. One of which being Barry Gill and wife Erma of Parkersburg and their daughter Whitney Ingold and Husband Dan of Charleston; a special friend: Rose Lacy of Buckhannon. Preceded in death by one sister Helen Gill; four brothers Junior, Jack, Robert, and Harry Richards. The family wishes to thank the staff at Med Plus in Pleasant Valley and the staff at Fairmont General Hospital for their supreme kindness and caring of their mother.
