Estal B Watson, 88, of Fredericksburg, VA, formally of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday August 7, 2012 at home in Fredericksburg, VA. She was born March 7, 1924 in Wallace; daughter of the late Thomas and Eula Stire Holt. Estal was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Watson. She is survived by two children, Gary R Watson of Fredericksburg, VA; Patricia L Lee and husband David of Springfield, VA; five grandchildren, Tracy Goodwin and husband Jason of Alabama, Samantha N Ballard and husband Steve, Kenneth S Lee, Jason M Bicknell and wife Dawn; Sean B Bicknell and wife Jade; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, John Thomas Holt and wife Nadene of Sardis; Adrie Holt and wife Mae of Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Deloris Dubbie Bennett; Sylvia Holt; one brother Burgess Holt. She graduated from Wallace High School and retired as a bookkeeper from United States Steel in Pittsburgh. She traveled around with her husband while he was in the military, where she lived in Clarksburg, Woodbridge, VA; Pittsburgh, PA and Fredericksburg, VA. Family and friends may visit at Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, on Friday August 10, 2012 from 4:00-8:00PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday August 11, 2012 at 12:00PM with Reverend David Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
