Evelyn Virginia Pelley Panteloukas, 92, of Clarksburg went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 23, 2012 following an extended illness. She was born January 4, 1920 in Lumberport the daughter of the late Charles H. Pelley and Pearl Preston Pelley. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony Panteloukas on March 26, 2010. She is survived by one daughter; Katina Panteloukas of Clarksburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Linda Pelley Williams and Dr. Terry Williams of Glendale WV and Paul Pelley Jr. and wife Gail of California. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul W. Pelley and Charles Wayne Pelley. Evelyn was a flight nurse in the US Army during WWII and was a second Lieutenant, she continued her nursing career at St. Mary's Hospital doing private duty and taking care of many Clarksburg families and she dedicated her life to caring for others. Evelyn was a member of the St. Mary's Nurses Alumni Association and past member of the Women's Club of Clarksburg, she loved traveling, especially to Williamsburg, VA. She was a collector of Angel's, she was an avid gardener and also enjoyed cooking. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and loved animals, most of all her pet, Tiny Cat. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg from 4-8 PM Thursday where services will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00AM with Reverend Rodney Heckert officiating. Interment will follow in the Elkview Masonic Cemetery where graveside rites will be conducted by the Harrison County Honor Guard.
