Frankie G Holloway

Frankie G. "Jan" Holloway, 86, of Clarksburg, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born January 28, 1926 in Sutton, WV the daughter of the late Virgil Ray Wise and Anna Olena Green Wise. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edward Holloway whom she married March 5, 1948. Frankie is survived by three daughters; Marlena Anne Perry and husband Luther of Clarksburg; Hazel Yvonne Saunders and husband Edwin of Bridgeport and Jennifer Lynn Cox of Clarksburg; six grandchildren; Jan Dennis "J.D." Perry of Huntington, Erica Lynn Perry of Clarksburg, Travis Lyndale Saunders of Bridgeport, Jonathon Ashford Saunders of Bridgeport, Alexis Devon Cox of Clarksburg, Marshall Brannon Cox of Clarksburg; five great grandchildren; Robert Aaron Perry, Ghovan Octavian Davidson and Lucien Alexander Michael Davidson, Francesca Rae Ann Davidson and Elias Ephesus Nasir Davidson and one sister; Lena "June" Grigsby of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one grandson; Edwin F. "Eddie" Saunders III; two brothers; Clinton Nathaniel Wise and Franklin Jr. Wise. Frankie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all including her dog "Kipper" whom she leaves behind. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. Frankie was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg from 1-8pm on Friday where services will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, August 4, 2012 with the Reverend Luther Perry officiating.
