Gerald Eugene McDaniel

Gerald Eugene McDaniel, 56 of Newburg, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his residence with family by his side. He was born February 23, 1956 in Grafton, son of Gerald Gay McDaniel, Newburg, and the late Ella Mae Mitter McDaniel McKendrick. Eugene had worked for the family sawmill for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, going to races, collecting model cars and coins. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Freda G Piggott McDaniel; five children, Jason Morris, MD, Tracy Collins, Morgantown, Robbie Martin, Morgantown, Stephen Sam Martin, Newburg, Tia D McDaniel, Newburg; four grandchildren, Lexis, Lincoln, Jason Jr. and Austin; three brothers, Dale Wayne McDaniel, Newburg, Jerry Lee McDaniel, Terra Alta, Matthew Scott McDaniel, Kingwood, one sister, Nancy Williams, Gadsden AL; Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 2-8 pm, and Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 9 am until the service at 11:00 am with Pastor Wilbert Phillips officating.
