Gerald Clifford Zinn

Gerald C. Zinn 79, of Arthurdale passed from this life on Sunday March 3, 2013 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Masontown February 25, 1934 a son of the late Luther and Marie (Turner) Zinn. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Along with his wife Maxine, they owned and operated Gerald C. Zinn and Sons Inc. which built custom homes. He was a member of: the Valley District Lions Club, where he received the Leonard Jarrett award for outstanding service contributions and received his 40 year service pin; the WV National Association of Home Builders; and Arthurdale Heritage. He assisted in the acquisition, improvements and daily operations of the Reedsville Dairy Queen. Gerald shared a passion for restoring vintage autos with all his children. He is survived by: his wife of fifty-eight years, Maxine (Radabaugh) Zinn; two sons: Jeff Zinn and wife Cathy and Ray Zinn and fiancé Julie Lewis; daughter Beverly Zeigler and husband John; Daughter-in-law Sue Zinn; sister Coleen Dippel of LaFollette, TN; five grandchildren Rodney Zinn and fiancé Kaila and children, Gina Marie Zinn, Amelia Goldstrom and Wes, Stacy Rhodes and Drew, Tyler Peddicord and Ashley; three great-grandchildren Paige, Ariana, and Taylor. He was preceded in death by two sons Ronald A. Zinn and in infancy his twin Donald. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arthurdale Heritage, P.O. Box 850, Arthurdale, WV 26520
