Helen Jean Larew

Helen Jean "Ridenour" Larew, 68 of Fellowsville, WV passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 20, 1943 at home, daughter of the late George and Pearl Bolyard Ridenour. Helen worked as a CNA at Heartland, Grafton City Hospital and Preston Memorial Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her two grandchildren. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Roy J Larew, two sons, Royce J Larew and Lauren, Kingwood, Christopher M Larew, Fellowsville; two grandchildren, Georgia G Larew and Ryan L Larew; two brothers, Emerson Ridenour and Doris Bell, Moatsville, Willie Ridenour and Donna, Moatsville; six sisters Mary Teets and Robert, Morgantown, Betty Shaffer and Lawrence, Stevenburg, Rosemary Larew and Dale, Thornton, Dorothy Willis and Allen, Reedsville, Eppie Bennett, Tunnelton, Rose Johnson and Joe, Stevensburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one infant son, Roy A Larew. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 4-8 pm, and Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 9 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with the Pastor Bob Uphold officiating.
