Howard Vincent Rohr

Howard Vincent Rohr, 86, of Rt. 1 Independence, passed away at Kingwood Healthcare Center on Tuesday July 16, 2024. He was born in Newburg WV, on February 19,1938, a son of the late David Rohr and Helen (Bucklew) Rohr.

Howard was a 1956 graduate of Arthurdale High School. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the operating engineer’s union working in construction and coal mining and later as a courier for WV caring.

Howard is survived by his wife, Linda (Sypolt) Rohr; son, Todd V. Rohr; two sisters-in-law: Polly Elliot and husband Joe and Betty Rohr; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David, and sister, Wanda.

A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date.
