Ida E. Moyer, age 85, of Painesville, OH, originally of Grafton, passed away March 3, 2013, at Tri Point Medical Center, in Concord Township, OH. She was born September 1, 1927, in Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Emerson Wilson Boyce and Ivy (Purkey) Boyce. Her husband Arley Frederick "Bud" Moyer preceded her in death. Ida worked in the housekeeping department of Lake County Memorial Hospital for 22 years, and previously worked at the former Hazel Atlas Plant for 3 years. She loved cooking, tending her flower and vegetable gardens, canning, quilting, and crocheting, but especially enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are: one daughter, Connie Palmer and husband Dennis L. Palmer, Sr., of Painesville, OH, four grandchildren, Jennifer Burton and husband Steve, Dennis L. Palmer, Jr. and wife Debbie, Dane W. Palmer, and Samatha Moyer; eight great grandchildren; six siblings, Olive Bolliger, Rebecca Bavely, Betty Boylen, Patricia Moats, Robert Boyce, and JoAnn Tucker; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by: two sons, Frederick Dale Moyer, and Donald Wilson Moyer; one brother Albert W. Boyce; and one sister Gladys McVicker. Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Sunday from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2013, at Bartlett Funeral Home. Pastor Ted Tate officiating. Interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
