James H. Stevens

James ( Jimmy) Howard Stevens, Age 58 , of Grafton, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 surrrounded by his loving family at the home of his Brother and Sister -In-Law Randy and Linda Stevens. He was born February 1, 1954. a son of the late Theadore R. and Doris J. Scott Stevens.
Jimmy is survived by four brothers; Teddy Stevens and wife Leona, Clarksburg, Paul Stevens, Phil Stevens and wife Cheryl and Randy Stevens and wife Linda all of Grafton. one sister-in-law; Sandy Slaton Stevens. And several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Grafton High School and joined the United States Army. He was a Past assistant fire Chief of the Thornton Fire Dept.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 4, 201, at the WV National Cemetery.
Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, the American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24, and their auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson.
