Jane Elizabeth (Riley) Satterfield

Jane Elizabeth (Riley) Satterfield, 89, of Masontown, passed away at Mon General Hospital Monday November 30, 2020. Jane was born on May 17, 1931 in Howesville, WV, the daughter of the late Percy William and Inez Mae (McGinnis) Riley.

Jane was a member of the Mannington Church of Nazarene for many years. She graduated and went on to work 17 years at Sterling Faucet and later as a pharmacy technician at Valley Pharmacy for over fifteen years.

Jane is survived by her children, Jeffrey and Selina Satterfield of Masontown, and Sheila and Randy Wagner of Masontown; four grandchildren, Nicole Jones Knotts, Julia and Laura Jones, and Jammie Whetsell; eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jael, and Leilania Knotts, Izaiah Sawyer, Erin, Eric, and Amare Whetsell, and Brandon Barnett; great-great grandson Brylenn; daughter-in-law, Sue Whetsell of Reedsville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Riley Satterfield; one son, Lawrence “Jim” Whetsell; grandson, Michael Whetsell; great grandson Gabriel Jacob Knotts one brother, Jack Riley; and two sisters, Jean Kilmer and Pauline Warnick

Memorial service will be at Arthurdale Cemetery 1:00PM Saturday December 5, 2020 with Pastor David Kisamore officiating.
