Jeffrey Earl Davis, 62, of Arthurdale, passed away December 20, 2024, at his home as a result of a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 30, 1962, in Morgantown, WV, the son of Loretta Davis of Arthurdale and the late Thomas Davis.
Jeff worked for Coca Cola Co. in Morgantown for 20 years as a truck driver, then for Mylan Pharmaceuticals for 21 years in different positions and lastly as a lab technician. He was a faithful church attendee at New Life Ministries in Reedsville. He loved going to church and rarely missed, helping wherever he was needed.
He was an avid fisherman, camping and fishing every chance he could get. He and a group of his “buddies” would travel to Cherokee, NC, to camp and fish, but his favorite places were Stuarts Park and Shavers Fork in Elkins where he made many friends.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his three children, Jamie Davis and fiancé, Richie Thomas, Janna Adams and husband, Josh, and Ben Davis and wife, Heather, all of Arthurdale. He was the loving and proud grandfather “Poppy” of two grandchildren, Judah and Josiah Adams. Also surviving are one brother, Kevin Davis and wife, Tamara, of Gladesville Road; and one sister, Tammy Rehe and husband, Danny Rehe, of Masontown. Lots of nephews and nieces loved their Uncle Jeff.
Family and friends will be received at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Reedsville, WV 26547, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 12pm until the 4:00 pm funeral hour with friend and Pastor Mike Charlton officiating. Online condolences and sympathy gifts can be sent to the Davis family at www.morganfuneralhomewv.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Jeff’s memory to the WVU Foundation “Michael Craig Comfort Fund”, One Waterfront Place, 7th Floor, PO Box 1650, Morgantown, WV 26507-1650.
