Jerry Wayne Hypes

Jerry Wayne Hypes, 53, of Clarksburg passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 25, 1959 in Beckley, WV the son of the late Everett Claypool and Laura Grey Hypes. He is survived by two children; Billie Jo Claypool and husband Ronnie of New Milton and Kimberly Yates and husband Jason of Clarksburg and their mother Pamela Poling of Grafton; five grandchildren Audrianna Nicole Claypool and fiancée Jason Jenkins, Jarrod Carl Claypool, Laura Ann McInnes, Robert Wayne Knobel and Charleen Irene Yates; one great grandson; Jerimiah Joel Jenkins; four sibilings; Raymond Claypool and wife Trudy of Mt. Clare, Elsie O'hara of CO, Ruth Harmon and husband Roger of Clarksburg, Sue Underwood of Beckley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Edward Claypool. Jerry was assistant manager at Advance Auto where he had been employed for over 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg Friday, from 2-7 p.m. where services will be held at 7:00p.m. At the family's request cremation will follow.
