John Allen Cress

John Allen Cress, 30 of Keyser, WV  passed away on September, 17th 2023. He was born on August 31, 1993 in Morgantown, WV. He was the son of Donna Lavezzare and Rick Swonger of Hendersonville, TN and Jeff and Lisa Cress of Masontown, WV.

He left behind his loving wife, Haylee Cress and son Jericho (6 months). John is also survived by his grandmothers, Wendy Cress, Gail Piper, Beulah Simmons, and Theresa McKenrick; siblings, Mikayla McCombs and (Jordan), Ashley Currey and (Terrell), Kelsey Polk, Michael Meade and (Megan) and 2 very close cousins, Cress Earp and Cody White; 12 nieces and nephews; Aunts and Uncles, Susie Piper and (Jason), Jimmy McKenrick and (Tina), Kenny Piper and (Ange), Mike Cress and (Jennifer), Sharon Maxon, Sandy Cress and (Erica), Tammy White and (Chuck), Patrick McKenrick and (Elizabeth).
 

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Sam Cress, Kenneth Piper, Donald McKenrick; his Uncle John McKenrick; niece and nephew, Nora and Nolan Taylor.

He was employed by M&A Trucking. Family was his love in life. Fishing, camping and riding anything with a motor on it were his forms of entertainment. His newest passions in life were his new born and beautiful wife and his truck. Family is love and all John's love was for family, so let’s be the strongest family we can in his and Aunt Jerri’s memory.
