Josephine Ann "Wee-Wee" Bray, age 52, of Gates Addition, Flemington, passed away, Monday, December 31, 2012, at United Hospital Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Grafton, February 23, 1960, a daughter of the late Raymond Howard Bray and Gladys Virginia (Shugars) Bray. Wee-Wee, as she was affectionately named by her father, brought great joy and love to her family and all that knew her. She was also known to her family as "The Boss". She loved all kinds of music but was especially fond of Gospel, spending her evenings watching the Gathers. She enjoyed writing, coloring books, calculators, and etch a sketch. She may not have remembered your name so she would give you one of her own. Surviving are: four sisters, Ruby Spencer and husband Larry ("Big Man" as he was named by Wee-Wee), with whom she made her home, of Flemington, Juanita Keener, of Tunnelton, Mary Love Ward and husband Joe , of Simpson, and Betty Plum, of Grafton; four brothers, Darrell Bray, of Grafton, Raymond "Pete" Bray and wife Nancy, Charles Bray and wife Sandy, Jerry Bray and wife Iwana, all of Flemington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one sister, Gladys Locklear; and one brother, Carl Eugene Bray, in infancy.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday from 3-8PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Friday, January 4, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Johnny Whitehair officiating. Interment at Flemington IOOF Cemetery
