Juanita Lynch, 70, of Center Point, WV departed this life Friday morning, November 23, 2012 at her home following an extended illness. She was born May 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Linzey L. Bates and Edna Blanche Carson Bates. She was married to Billy E. Lynch on August 23, 1964, who preceded her in death April 6, 2006.
Surviving are her three children, Robert B. Lynch and wife Cindy of Parkersburg, WV, Sherry L. Heckert and husband Brian, Billy E. Lynch, Jr. and wife Margie all of Center Point; three sisters, Sandra Morgan (Harvey) of Minerva, OH, Linda Jo Bates of Tyler, TX, and Joyce Cunningham (Dave) of Alliance, OH; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth and Abby Lynch, Jordan and Joseph Heckert, Kayla Rhodes, Kristofer O'Brien, Victoria Meyer, Cody Collins, and Amaysia Ash. Juanita was a graduate of Doddridge County High School in 1960. She was owner of Lynch's Grocery for 20 years and was post office contractor for Center Point Post Office. She was also a member of Pike Fork Church and McClellan District VFD. She was a trustee of Center Point Cemetery Association. She enjoyed reading, camping in her RV, needlepoint and crocheting, and collecting knicknacks. Friends may call at Greathouse Funeral Home in Salem Monday 4-8 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 27 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clarence Ash presiding. Interment will follow at Wallace Lions Club Cemetery.
