Lillian Louise Stevens

Lillian Louise (Nestor) Stevens, age 83, of Route 1, Blueville Drive, Grafton, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, July 27, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Grafton, March 16, 1929, a daughter of the late David Oscar Nestor and Ora Virginia (Horton) Nestor. Her former husband of 25 years, Denzil A. Stevens, of Grafton, survives.
Lillian attended Grafton High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1947, however, she did not graduate with her class, but was very proud of the fact that she obtained her GED in 1970, the same year her oldest daughter graduated. Lillian was first a mother, grandmother and homemaker, she also worked at various retail stores in Grafton but will best be remembered as a clerk at the former Phillips Pharmacy and later Rite Aid. She was a member of the Blueville Church of Christ.
Surviving are: four children, Debbie Mick and husband Dennis, Douglas Stevens and wife Linda, all of Grafton, Teresa "Terry" Fast and husband Rodney, of Medina, OH, and Dale Stevens and wife Sheilah, of Grafton; nine grandchildren, Cynthia Pyles and husband Craig, of Williamstown, WV, Sheryl Courtney and husband Darren, of Apex, NC, Joseph Stevens, of Chicago, IL, Thomas Stevens and wife Pam, of Bridgeport, WV, Kenneth Shawn Rubenstein and wife Cindy, of Grafton, Reuben "Todd" Rubenstein and wife Johanna, of Clarksburg, Miranda Dawn Stevens and life partner Kim, of Morgantown, Jennifer Nicole Jackson and husband Jacob, of Grafton, and Zachary Dale Stevens, of Grafton; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Bernard Nestor and wife Mary, of Fairmont; one sister Pauline White, of Grafton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: six brothers, Durbin, Gene, Donald, Russell, Bud, and Ronald Nestor; and two sisters, Dorothy Tracey and Mary Stull. Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Tuesday, July 30, 2012, from5 -8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Blueville Church of Christ. Mrs. Stevens will lie in repose at the church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. Rev. Tom Horne and/or Stuart Mick officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
