Michael Vaughn Britton, 57, of Morgantown, formerly of Reedsville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday May 13, 2021 from his home after a lengthy illness. He was born July 5, 1963 in Kingwood a son of Roy Britton, Jr. and Linda (Bishop) King. Mike was an avid deer hunter and Mountaineer fan. He had a unique sense of humor. Mike attended WVU and Fairmont State, he earned a BA in Industrial engineering. Before starting his own construction company he was a regional Aflac Insurance agent.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his pride and joy, his children and grandchildren: Daughters, Shaylea and companion Mike; Sierra and companion Roy; son Michael and companion Shelby; grandchildren: Wyatt, Taelynn, Ryder, and Lovella; also, brother, Tony; sisters, Marcia Hughes, Andrea Beckman, Angie Casino, and Trina Britton; and special friend Tina Harvey. His sister Darla preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 1 – 4:00 PM, the time of Funeral Services with Rev. Mike Charlton officiating. Private Inurnment will follow cremation.
