Michael Angelo Todesko, age 72, of Arthurdale WV, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 8, 1951, in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Angelo and Maxine (Knotts) Todesko. His wife Catherine Marie “Cathy” (Fletcher) Todesko survives.
Mike was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. He was retired having worked as a Track Maintenance Foreman/Inspector for Monongahela Railway, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Tri County Bass Club, and the Kingwood Pike Coon Hunters. He was a member of the Preston County Senior Citizens where he served as the executive secretary, and a board member at the Valley Senior Center. He was a coach for many years for his son's baseball and basketball teams.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: one son, Joseph Michael “Joe” Todesko and wife Lauren, of Arthurdale; two grandchildren, Joseph Michael “JJ” Todesko, Jr, and Colt Stephen Todesko, both of Arthurdale; two sisters, Becky Lesnett and children Jamie, Michael, and Angie, of Radford, VA, and Brenda Simms (George) and daughters Liz and Allie, of Morgantown.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Reedsville, WV, on Wednesday, January 3rd from 3-8:00 PM. A prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:30 PM on Wednesday. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 322 E. Main Street, Kingwood with Father Dominic Athishu as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Howesille..
