Mona Jean Heck

Mona Jean Heck went home to be with her Lord and Savior December 27, 2012 at United Hospital Center in her 80th year. She was born on July 24, 1932 in Lost Creek, WV; daughter of the late Henry Coley Stead and Varie Lucille Mays Moody. She is survived by two sons; Olen Raymond Heck of Stonewood and David Lee Heck and wife Serenity of Stonewood; four daughters; Debra Jean Heck of Stonewood, Cindy Sue Ronne and husband Jeff of Canon Falls, MN, Chrystal Lynn McCloy and husband Doug of Stonewood and Penny Raye Ramsey and husband Tim of Bridgeport; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one half brother Robert Joseph Moody of Eastview, WV. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Reverend Olen L. Heck, one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Heck was beloved by her family. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and former member of Bible Baptist Temple. She was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and bus ministry volunteer. Mrs. Heck served the Lord faithfully alongside her husband as they ministered in the area of nursing homes and jail services. Visitation Friday, January 4, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Clarksburg; funeral service at Bible Baptist Temple on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charles Madaus officiating.
