Ralph Eugene Pyles

Ralph Eugene Pyles, 85, of Reedsville and Morgantown, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 16, 1940, in Birds Creek, WV, son of the late Ivan and Goldie Marie (Tichnell) Pyles.

Ralph was longtime owner and operator, along with his son Heath, of Country Auto Rebuilders. He loved working on cars and he was self-taught on body work and painting. Ralph also enjoyed fishing. Most of all he loved Jesus, and he shared that love of faith while attending Faith Christian Fellowship in Morgantown. 

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Emma Jean (Loughry) Pyles; special niece, Jennifer Richman and husband Mark, and their son, Wyatt, of Arthurdale; special nephew, Gene Strahin and wife Cindy, of Independence.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Heath Pyles; sister, Carolyn Welch; and brothers, Cloyd Pyles, Delano Pyles.

Family and friends will be received at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Reedsville, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Gladesville Cemetery.
