Rebecca Darlene Gray

Rebecca Darlene Gray, of Clarksburg, WV, beloved wife of James Elwood Gray, passed peacefully March 5, 2013 at her residence in her 59th year. She was born February 28, 1954 in Bridgeport; daughter of the late Guy Philip Woofter and Marguerite Elizabeth Willis Woofter. In addition to her husband of 37 years, she is survived by two daughters, Eleanor M Nester and husband Justin of Martinsburg, WV, Jennifer L Rogers and husband Joseph of Clarksburg, WV; three grandchildren, Emma G Nester, Noah J Nester, Ava J Nester; four sisters, Sharon Ferrell and husband Fred of Orlando, FL, Linda Linville and companion John Selario of Bridgeport, WV, Patricia Price and husband Gary "Whitey" of Mt. Clare, WV, Michelle Bowers and husband Tony of Clarksburg, WV; numerous nieces and nephews. She was employed with the Harrison County Board of Education where she served for 23 years. Becky loved cooking, baking, fishing, outdoors, the beach, swimming, bowling and was very crafty. She loved to laugh, enjoyed life and spending time with family especially Sundays at their cabin. Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home; service 11:30 AM Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Horne officiating. Interment in the West Virginia National Cemetery. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the employees of People's Hospice.
